就是利用鍋爐尾部煙道中的煙氣通過(guò)內(nèi)部的散熱片將進(jìn)入鍋爐前的空氣預(yù)熱到一定溫度的受熱面。用于提高鍋爐的熱交換性能，降低能量消耗。 一般簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)為空預(yù)器。多用于燃煤鍋爐。在鍋爐中的應(yīng)用一般為三分倉(cāng)式。 使用時(shí)空預(yù)器緩慢旋轉(zhuǎn)，煙氣入口和空氣入口不變。煙氣進(jìn)入空預(yù)器的煙氣側(cè)后排出，吸收了煙氣熱量的散熱片在空預(yù)器的旋轉(zhuǎn)下來(lái)到空氣側(cè)，將熱量傳遞給空氣。 附帶系統(tǒng)主要有火災(zāi)報(bào)警（熱點(diǎn)探測(cè)）、間隙調(diào)整、變頻控制。
